Been a bit bummed out today after hearing about Mani's untimely death. The first Stone Roses album was obviously massive for me and everyone else in my peer group growing up. One of my many musical regrets is passing on seeing him play with Primal Scream a bunch of times when Kevin Shields was still in the band.

I was at Glastonbury during the infamous set where they got cut off after Bobby Gillespie gave the audience loads of shit but was off watching someone else. I forget who.

I am a dyed in the wool midwesterner. I spent a chunk of this year’s golf outing convincing coworkers that Traveling Wilburys Vol 1 is the perfect album. I love Tom Petty.

P4K have been under pressure to review the first album for years but keep avoiding it. They gave All Things Must Pass a 9 so, similar to their review of the greatest pop album of this century, they kind of painted themselves into a corner.

Anyone using something other than Spotify? I switched to Qobuz a while ago for various reasons. I wish the app had a few more things that Spotify had, but am still quite happy, and won’t go back to Spotify.
