Netflix (BA DUM)

Speaking of Korean game shows:

Shit way to treat contestants - but also kind of appropriate for a show based on Squid Game.
My first thought when they announced this: I don't know how Netflix just didn't give Mr. Beast like $50M to put this on. They've spent way more money on way more stupid things.

If anyone is unfamiliar check out the view count:

I hope Netflix got some good data with Chris Rock’s special last night. I want live stand up on TV monthly.

Now release less shows in higher quality weekly. And maybe don’t cancel things after 1 season with no ending a couple times. Dumbasses.

I think it's kind of funny that Netflix gets 100% of the blame for 1 season shows without endings. Maybe people should write endings instead.

Angel’s ending was cool, but definitely not the series finale I wanted. Another season would’ve been really awesome with what they teased.

Any chance the Chris Rock special becomes funny at any point? I turned it off like five minutes in because it didn't seem promising. Old man vs. cloud type shit. This was his last chance for me. He hasn't made me laugh in a very long time.

Nah it sucks. Old man whining. Big mistake waiting until the next Oscar week to officially 'respond' to Will Smith. The slap might as well have occured a decade ago.

Just to be a little more positive, off the top of my head - Comedians you might see on TV that actually make me laugh:

Nate Bargatze
Sarah Silverman
Joe List
Gaffigan
Tom Segura
Ricky Gervais
Jim Jeffries
John Mulaney (probably the best in the business if he can get his shit together)
Hannibal Burress
Kelsey Cook (hometown bias and I know her dad)
Whitney Cummings
Neal Brennan
Doug Stanhope
Nick Kroll
Todd Barry
and... ol' Jackoff Louie. He's definitely down a few notches with how he's handled himself (heh) but can't deny the man's talent.

Bert Kreischer has a new comedy special out next week on Netflix BTW.
Literally never made me laugh.

That guy is a fucking loser.
Love his interview style on his podcast when Tom's not there. Ask a "do you ever have times when...?" question, let the guest say five words, then interrupt with a big long story he wanted to tell that was the whole point of asking the question anyway.
