Shit way to treat contestants - but also kind of appropriate for a show based on Squid Game.

My first thought when they announced this: I don't know how Netflix just didn't give Mr. Beast like $50M to put this on. They've spent way more money on way more stupid things.

I think it's kind of funny that Netflix gets 100% of the blame for 1 season shows without endings. Maybe people should write endings instead.

Sucks but it’s probably not unique to Netflix. I have two friends that are TV writers who have had some success. When I heard about the process for getting a show to even filming a pilot, I was pretty surprised. Wildly convoluted and extremely tenuous, every step of the way.
This person said they’re now working at A24, so win?

Love his interview style on his podcast when Tom's not there. Ask a "do you ever have times when...?" question, let the guest say five words, then interrupt with a big long story he wanted to tell that was the whole point of asking the question anyway.
