I was browsing the shelves for rum for mojitos this week and settled on some flora de cana 4 yr white and man that’s perfection for a cocktail.

I think I like the dark funky stuff for sipping though

This is pretty nice. It however does indeed hit that diesel nose heavy. So much to unpack here.

I’ve been tweaking my mojitos a little each time and my mint has been growing fast, but my god when the mojito hits, I can’t stop drinking them.

Grabbed some plantation 3 star AND even had a friend with some Havana club ( non PR) and I still think flora de Cana 4 yr dry is phenomenal

Polished off the blended rum I grabbed in Jamaica last year. No beach trip this year but I have some other rums to drink through so that is alright. This was fine for mixing but not my favorite sipper on its own.
