US - West The de Garde Thread

Nope. They moved across (ish) the street from Sportsman's Pub.

We were there the day they opened. It was weird, but I'm sure they'll grow into it.

With the 4th of July just around the corner, we have some new beers to offer members just in time for the holiday. These are sure to set off some fireworks on your palate. This sale will start on Monday, July 1st at 9 am (PDT) and end on Wednesday, July 3rd at 9 pm (PDT) on the keeper’s portal: https://degardebrewing.vinespring.com.

The Serine ($18 each, limit 1 bottle with the option to wish for 2 more)
We had the opportunity during the last grape harvest to work with two new grape varietals from a favorite Southern Oregon vineyard.
The Serine is the first of these and features some gorgeous Syrah grapes. Their beautiful red & black fruit, and dry earth characteristics along with their subtle spice notes pair wonderfully with mature barrels from our stock of spontaneous beer. While this may not be the largest composition, it is assuredly a delicious one. We are currently working to secure some of the limited amount of grapes from this vineyard so that we can ensure our ability to make this in future years. Unfortunately, it may be a while before we can get them again…
In the meantime, we believe that you’ll enjoy this. With extremely limited quantities, there is a chance this will not be publicly available.

The Petria ($18 each, limit 2 bottles with the option to wish for 2 more)
Sourced from a different and more Northern Oregon vineyard, this beer features some wonderful, colder climate, Riesling grapes. The expressive minerality of the fruit, plus its petrol and lime characteristics, marry with a deeper funk and vibrant fruit character garnered from the selected barrels of our beer that had been aged for an average of just over two years. Again, we hope to work with this fruit in the future, but we are at the mercy of vineyard yields and nature. There is no guarantee until the winery determines that their needs are met. We will certainly enjoy what we have for now, though!

The Bluest ($18 each, limit 1 bottle with the option to wish for 2 more)
This beer is our ode to blueberry overindulgence. We cannot legally (seriously) add more blueberries to a beer. We source these delightful berries from our favorite berry farm, and add them whole to a secondary oak tank along with curated and complementary two year old barrels from our spontaneous stock. This release may be our best expression of Oregon blueberries yet, but we’ll leave that up for you to ultimately decide. The funk and delicate wood elements certainly don’t hurt the potential enjoyment either.
This blend of the The Bluest is also incredibly limited, and we do not anticipate a public sale.

We hope everyone has a fun, festive and safe 4th of July!

Cheers,
The de Garde Team

The Bluest may be my favorite De Garde beer. Hope I can pick some up after the "exclusive" sale.

are these new for this years BFNA?
I think that's correct. The question is how to get a bottle of each.

Yes. There has been a different collab/blend each year since they started 4 years ago.
