Last week, I did a "what the fuck is this" because of this video and now I've bought their last couple albums on bandcamp. Thanks! Very interesting stuff.
 
Been waiting for Magic Giant to release a new album for what seems like ages… and I am underwhelmed by the lead single. Album drops next week so we shall see what the rest sounds like. But it is nice to see all three of them working together again. Zambricki skipped the last tour in favor of being a new dad (don’t blame him but being that he is what I consider to be the reason to see them perform it was a bit of a letdown). Keeping my hopes up that this song is something that I just need to let grow on me and the rest will be great.
 
Starting to think Spotify is terrible at letting me know when artists I follow have new singles when they are independent. I had to block Taylor Swift, who I like maybe two songs of for being oversaturated in my recommendations but JD McPherson who I have saved every track of, I did not get notified of when he dropped a new single this week. Almost like he is not paying to play.

It’s getting super annoying. I blocked Gracie Abrams the other week and they’re still putting her in my feed.
