It’s nice to see major buzz building around a pop act the old fashioned way - strong live shows all over the country, not just major cities, punctuated with breakout moments like Tiny Desk and Coachella.

I didn’t know she was gay until I read this earlier today. Says a lot about my comprehension ability for lyrics. LOL

No Quarter just announced a Bonnie Prince Billy and Nathan Salsburg collab…a Lungfish cover album!!??!? I love it. No tracks being released until late May though.

These guys can write a catchy tune. They made one of my favorite songs from last year ("Marriage") and this one will likely be at the top of the list come December. They're also on Sub Pop now, so hopefully they'll make it over to the states sometime this year.

That's quite good. I've long dismissed her as a pointless society it girl without actually listening to anything she's ever released. Guess I'm a massive misogynist.
