Started Death Stranding, seemed eerily fitting for our new reality.

Also, it sounds like FFVIIr is gonna get released early.

The rollercoaster of having pre-ordered a physical copy the past few weeks has been exhausting. Things looking up at the moment though.

Yeah, I've got it pre-ordered with Amazon, so whenever it gets here is fine with me.

First thing I'm opening next week when my furlough begins. I've had it sealed since release date.

I'd been holding off on buying it and finally snagged a $25 copy the other week.

Recovering from my heart surgery, I've got enough energy to work (ie. sit at my computer desk) maybe an hour or two a day, which is way more than any of us expected. The rest of my time is spent going for short walks and sitting on my ass watching shows or playing games. Can't think of a better time to be on sternal precautions (can't lift more than five pounds per hand, can't sit in the front of a car, etc.) than during a pandemic.

I usually do this but I had a duplicate copy of a game Amazon sent me twice (and subsequently wanted me to pay for a return like a bunch of dummies). Switched that shit out at Walmart.

Amazon has really cut back on the "free" shipping mistakes. They used to let me keep everything, but in the last year they want all items returned. Oh well.

Anybody ever put together their own raspberry pi emulator? I got about 95% of the way there a while back but I messed up something. Figured now would be a good time to revisit it.

Basically I have it set up so the OS is on the SD card on the board and all the games are on a flash drive plugged into one of the USB ports.

RetroPie runs fine but it doesn't recognize a large portion of the games. Most of the emulators don't show but I read that's because they are only active when they read games from that specific system.

I downloaded all the games from one source and added them all in the same way.

Any help would be appreciated.

Death Stranding is about the most fitting game you could possibly play through right now. Shiiiiit.

beerscenes did one the other week. I'm tempted to do one, too.

Anyone have any experience with these Amiibo "key chains" that I see advertised on Ebay/Etsy? I'm guessing they are pirated NFC codes etc but didn't know if they might be somewhat legit. My daughter is all about Breath of the Wild and paying $3 for one of these versus $30 on ebay seems like a nice way to go.

They work. I have a friend that bought a freaking Rolodex of them. They’re just duplicating NFC tags.

We have a shipping confirmation. Now I just need the national shipping infrastructure to hold on for a few more days.

Call of Duty WWII worth buying?

i've never played any of these and it seems to be the only reasonably priced title available (through minimal searching).
