Firearms - Shooting, Carrying, and Collecting

We were able to keep this thread anti-toxic at TB and I'd like to do the same here.

I picked up my CPL recently, and I plan on picking up a Sig P365 XL very soon as my EDC.

Do we have any other concealed carriers here? I have questions.
You sure you want the XL? If you don’t want the regular 365 (best EDC gun ever, IMO), I’d take a look at the 320 XCompact. I honestly don’t even get the 365XL. That’s just me, though.
I have a CCL here in Wisconsin. Collect some antique firearms, enjoy target shooting, hunting, etc.

Nope. I used the gun show loophole to get rid of all my icky guns.

I was pretty sold on the 365 until I saw and held the XL. The 320 is just too wide for me to carry regularly. I like the longer sight radius for the XL, plus it looks like the longer slide has fixed their primer drag issues from the standard 365.

I agree the 320 is too wide for good concealment. That’s why I mention the X series. It’s a different, slimmer frame. Check it out if you can.

Supplemental selling point: You could carry a factory 21 round mag as your reload.

When I lived in Lynnwood I had my CPL. I used to carry fairly often depending on where I was going (i.e. when in the mountains I'd carry every time, or whenever I went south of downtown Seattle :D).

That is correct.

Perhaps suggest they offer this idea towards ALM accusations and claims...

Would be quite the shitty instance when someone needs to fight to get a restraining order, or file a civil claim even.

I mean, I can argue that most people likely will rarely ever, or never need to unholster their firearm. I hope that’s the case, Atleast.
The point isn’t how often it’s used, but the reasonings shouldn’t matter or be subjective, imo. To me it’s like them denying your ability to drive, smoke a vape, eat food that didn’t pass thru the usda even. I dunno, kind of toxic but I guess I get you favor the climate. .

I hate that I have to wait until something goes wrong to be allowed to carry.
