Wine

The Martha Stoumen wines are great, and I’m glad I was told to buy this. With a generic “white blend” tag at the store, this didn’t scream at me, but it’s the perfect summer wine at 10%. I plan to grab the nero d’avola next.

Just drank this bottle this weekend, and agree, was great. Had a lemonade thing going on which I loved.

I don't have a picture from when it was consumed in my house like an hour ago, but we purchased a few cans of this on Saturday:

Wild Arc Rosado Piquette in 375ml cans. This was fucking tasty. It was like a really good, well balanced low-ABV fruit beer. Raspberry and cherry for days. Super crushable and flavorful.

I don't know who else is carrying them, but we picked them up at Kingston Wine Co., in Kingston, NY, who seem to have a bunch still in stock and for sale online here.

If anybody decides to head up there, we also had some wine and lunch at a place down the street called Brunette. There were some people that seemed to be saying the word "energy" over and over in a HEAVY vocal fry a few tables over that were making me want to jam a fork in my ear, but other than those dinguses, it was lovely and I would recommend a visit for sure.

Southold brought kegs of a CRUSHABLE 5-ish percent piquette to Wild World, and I only want to drink that during TX summers.

Piquette is nice. But... no Tillie no care. ;) (I want to go!)

Been sipping on so much lately, but here are some standouts from our wine lunch/dinner at Wu's Wonton King in Chinatown:

And yes, the last one does fit despite it not being a wine. Nathan brought it. Roze was there too. Is Jose on this thing?

If anyone is looking for a reasonably priced wine membership, i Highly recommend the Ridge Advance Tasting Program. Bottles end up being about 30/35 each and they send some wonderful bottles out 3x a year.
