Love the Schilling lager game and this one carries on the rustic malt character they always have. Hard to put my finger on it, but it’s kinda dirty/mineraly.
Alex is goat status.
Dorst and Nordetor (both German pils) I liked a lot more than Alexander. Not that I dislike Al, but it’s on the low end in my Schilling lager experience.
but maybe I’ll try it again when I see it next.

In fact, just got a mixed case pickup from the brewery by a friend a couple days ago. Agreed on the Alexandr love as well as for Norderator as sameasiteverwas mentioned. I also dig Palmovka (12 plato czech)
theLostWizard their cans are all around New England so shouldn’t be hard for someone to find. If you want to wait for a fresh GPIUFMB direct from the brewery I will certainly be up that way sometime this fall or winter and can help.

It gets some distro…not to my area but I always grab some when I’m up in Richmond.

Is Max your rep now? I was seeing more Schilling in my area when he was down here but he's up north somewhere.
Kevin has been our Sarene rep for ages. Someone told me recently there's a guy who's responsible for getting Schilling on the market but that he also hoards it for his territory. I forget the name but maybe it's Max!

Word on the street is that they were distributing Other Half in Other Parts of the state. That was, of course, before OH opened their Maplewood, NJ brewery to self-distro.*
But from them, I get Schilling, Industrial Arts, Brooklyn Cider, KCBC, Pipeworks, the occasional Weldwerks, and a bunch of other random stuff. Nothing crazy but all solid.
*I don't think I should have to really tell anyone here to read my words the way Daria would say them, but just in case there's a newbster here...
Another day, another new beer from Competicity
Super fruity nose…not fresh how old it is, but malt is starting to present a little more cola/damp basement. Usually how Mamas Lil Yella tastes at around 2 months old. Still damn good and quite crispy.

Well it’s Schilling, so I’m sure they used a deft hand with the hops.
