I have several 20+ year old bottles of HotD in my cellar and I always question their age because their packaging looks so modern to me compared to other older bottles I have. Is that just me? Were these guys just on point with some timeless branding or did that stuff look odd on shelves 20 years ago?

*waits for everyone to tell him that their designs look like shit*
Not at home right now but some Freds and Adams (I've got a batch 1 of one of those IIRC)... nothing too out of this world. On point with branding, I think.
Which 20+-year-old ones?

Apparently someone scored a bottle of Eve from one of those mystery packs?
Tavour gets a lot of their stuff, a buddy gave me a DIPA of theirs. It was fine, but I see no reason to ever consider buying it.

Those prices can certainly fuck right off.Been in Wisconsin for a couple of years. Typical average to above average haze. Not worth the price of admission 9/10 times.
I mean, if you don't get any good haze and that's your thing, go for it. I certainly ticked a bunch of them when they first got here, but haven't in well over a year.
They'll probably do well enough in areas that don't have a mature local beer culture.Been in Wisconsin for a couple of years. Typical average to above average haze. Not worth the price of admission 9/10 times.
