College Football

Labor Day isn't too far away. As seems to be the case these days, if you're a Clemson, Bama or Georgia fan, you should be excited. Everyone else, not so much.

Aggies play all three. Here's praying year 2 Jimbo can bring some magic.

Now get me the ball.

UGA recently dismissed a player, who ended up being the #1 WR on the team for the upcoming season. Looking like a long shot for some game breaking WR on paper, hopefully some transfers or some freshmen step up!!

Which sucks for everyone... hate it the kid lost what could have been his greatest shot in life, over getting angry and (allegedly) hitting a woman. Bet he learns a well deserved lesson.

I'm not sure about that. I think every unit is stronger than Clemson outside of QB. And Fromm isn't a slob. Oline should be the best in the country. LB core should be much better. Dline has to stay healthier this year

If anything I’m impressed with the Oline, they are gonna be insanely talented, and given the time Fromm should have- I’m hoping someone can be on the other side of the ball for him.

You’re high af if you don’t think Clemson has the best receiving corps in college football.

Alabama and Oklahoma have a lot of talent at WR also. I would take any of those groups. UGA has a lot of talent also, just have to prove it on the field.

Bama’s right up there without doubt. OU has a lot of replacing to do. I was mainly reacting to your claim that the Dawgs are better at every position but QB.

Since there's literally nothing going on, let's talk about our personal loves and hates about the culture of college football.

LOVES -- blimp shots over a classic stadium, the high stakes of every single game, the occasional triumph of insanely underdoggy underdogs

HATES -- consolidation of power among the blue bloods, players not getting paid, juvenile and confusing nicknames for rivals

Love- first two weekends of CFB when it’s still nice and sitting outside watching games is enjoyable. Top teams getting beat then go on to have a shit season. Freshman QB’s going off on teams that they shouldn’t be able to beat.

Hate- the sec schedule, coaches who can’t make adjustments, abc Saturday night games
